AdMob’s Policy Change

AdMob recently made a policy change regarding ad platforms on iPhone applications. We’ve prepared an initial response here.

But stay tuned as we are working around the clock on a number of issues that we’ll be announcing soon.

It is ironic that only yesterday I got started integrating AdWhirl into my apps. Even if it weren’t for the mediation layer AdWhirl would still be a great solution for me to be able to insert promotion to my other paid apps from within my free apps. Admob does have Exchange but gives no possibility for a developer to cross-advertise his own products for free from within his apps.

Needess to say that AdMob’s email was a bummer.
